Amid the ongoing feud between U.S. President Donald Trump and SpaceX founder Elon Musk, Trump, in an interview with NBC News on Saturday, said there would be “serious consequences” if the Tesla CEO funds Democratic Party candidates to run against Republicans who vote for Trump’s sweeping tax-cut bill.

However, Trump did not reveal the details of what those consequences would be in the phone interview. “He’ll have to pay very serious consequences if he does that,” Trump said.

Trump also said he has no desire to mend his relationship with Musk after a feud between the two men got public earlier this week. “No,” Trump said when asked if he had any wish to do so. When asked if he thought his relationship with his former advisor was over, Trump said, “I would assume so, yeah.”

The President said he is too busy and has no plans to speak with Musk anytime soon. “I’m too busy doing other things,” he said, adding, “I have no intention of speaking to him.”

When asked about Musk’s now deleted post, alleging that Trump was named in files pertaining to the case of late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, he responded, “That’s called ‘old news,’ that’s been old news, that has been talked about for years,” Trump said on Saturday. “Even Epstein’s lawyer said I had nothing to do with it. It’s old news.”
