In a major development following the tragic stampede during Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) IPL victory celebrations, Bengaluru Police on Friday arrested Nikhil Sosale, the franchise’s head of marketing and revenue. The incident, which occurred on Wednesday, left 11 people dead and over 40 injured, casting a shadow over what was meant to be a historic celebration for RCB after their maiden IPL title win.
In the recent development, Nikhil Sosale approached the Karnataka High Court to challenge his arrest relating to the stampede that happened outside Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy Stadium, as reported by Bar and Bench.
