China: An earthquake of 7.7 magnitude and an aftershock of 6.4 struck central Myanmar on Friday, with strong tremors in Thailand’s capital, Bangkok and China.
A dramatic video from China has gone viral on social media, showing people being swept away by a tsunami like huge wave of water from a rooftop pool in China’s Southwestern province Yunnan. In the video, people were seen fleeing from the spot as they can be seen swallowed by the massive wave of water.
Two people have been reported injured in China’s Yunnan and Sichuan provinces due to the tremors.
144 people have been reported dead due to the Myanmar earthquake and 732 have been reported injured as per Chinese local media.
