Viral Video Shows High-Speed Bike Crash At Traffic Signal, Triggering Chain Collision And Injuring Six | X | @MotorOctane
Mumbai, March 13: A video is being widely shared on social media showing a bike accident in resulting in a series of crashes. The video shows that a bike rider hits a scooter from behind after which they fall, drag on the road and hit another scooter. The scooter riders also fell on the road. The accident impacted two scooters and a bike resulting in six people falling on the road. The entire incident was caught on helmet camera of a biker who was following them on the road.
The video starts as few bikes are waiting at the traffic signal for the lights to turn green. As soon as the light turns green, the bikes and scooters waiting at the signal start moving. As they moved a little further, a biker riding Honda Xpulse came from behind at high speed. His bike went out of control, after which he rammed into a black scooter on which a man and a woman were riding.
They both fell on the road due to the impact of the collision. Their scooter was still moving forward as they fell from it. It went straight and rammed into a car parked on the side of the road. A pedestrian had a narrow escape from the scooter as it could have hit him.
The riders on the Xpulse bike fell on another scooter moving in the extreme left of the road. There were two people on the scooter who also fell on the road due to the collision. The video also shows the entire incident is slow motion also.
The video was shared on social media with the caption, “A Series Of Crashes! Here is a video which shows how reckless driving causes accidents and how innocent people suffer! Don’t Miss The End & Don’t Be Like This Guy!”
Social media users reacted to the video calling the biker who caused the accident “Chapri”. One of the users said, “Problem with two wheeler riders is, they always want to come to the right even though there is lot of space on the left. This behaviour is more after crossing traffic lights and speed breakers.”
Another user said, “Iske baad yeh saale chapri apne aapko rider bolte hai safely bike ride karni aati hai nahi hai khudke saath dusro ki jaan bhi lenge yeh aur scooty waale bande ka opinion reject kar raha hai usme chahe helmet na lagaya ho trippling bhi kari ho lekin woh over speeding nahi kar raha.”
