RCF Police arrest two accused in Vignesh Chandale murder case in Chembur | Representational Image
Mumbai: The RCF police have arrested two individuals in connection with the murder of a 22-year-old youth, Vignesh Narayan Chandale, in Chembur. The arrested accused have been identified as Sumit Ambure (21) and Omkar More (22).
According to the police, the victim and the accused were from the same locality, and a minor altercation between them escalated into a fatal attack.
The incident took place on March 10 near Jari Mari Mata Temple in Vadavali village, where Vignesh encountered the accused. A heated argument ensued, during which the accused abused and threatened him.
Amid the confrontation, Omkar More attacked Vignesh with a sharp weapon, stabbing him in the chest. The victim collapsed on the spot and was rushed to Sion Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. RCF police have registered a case and are conducting further investigations.
