Actor Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani, who got married on January 12 in Goa, are all set to tie the knot as per Hindu rituals in a few days, and the couple celebrated their mehendi ceremony on Wednesday. During the festivities, Aadar was seen declaring his love for Alekha, and while at it, quipped that he earlier did “timepass” before finally deciding to marry Alekha.
A video from the ceremony has now gone viral in which Aadar can be seen delivering an emotional speech for is wife. Sharing how he has been in love with Alekha since their childhood, the Qaidi Band actor said, “I have always loved her since then, and I have always wanted to be with her but never got a chance to be with her. So she sent me on this long journey of 20 years to do time pass.”
“But at the end of the day it was worth the wait because I get to marry this beautiful, beautiful woman, who looks like a dream,” he added.
Aadar then quipped, “I love you, and it was worth the wait. It’s a secret, I have always loved her. I did time pass for four years of my life. But now I’m with you, baby.”
The entire Kapoor family, including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Neetu Kapoor and others cheered and clapped as Aadar ended his speech.
Incidentally, Aadar was previously dating actress Tara Sutaria before getting into a relationship with Alekha. Aadar and Tara reportedly dated for four years, and during that time, Alekha was often seen hanging out with them and “third-wheeling” them. They then parted ways in 2023, and in 2024, Aadar announced his engagement with Alekha.
