The Newlyweds have arrived! And Hyderabad rolled out the red carpet in the most traditional way possible for Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda. After their intimate Udaipur wedding on February 26, 2026, the couple hosted a grand reception on March 4, embracing a deeply rooted South Indian aesthetic that felt regal, cultural and timeless.

Walking hand-in-hand, greeting guests and the media with warm smiles, the duo looked every bit the royal pair, but with an unmistakable touch of tradition.

Rashmika’s South Indian moment

For the reception, Rashmika paid homage to her heritage in a custom red Mysore silk saree by Jade. The classic drape featured a striking black and gold border that added richness and depth to the vibrant red base.

The real showstopper, however, was her jewellery from SHREE Jewellers. Drawing inspiration from the peacock and the Gandaberunda, the iconic two-headed emblem of Mysore’s Wadiyar dynasty, the pieces beautifully echoed her cultural lineage.

At the centre of her look was the elaborate Peacock Fountain necklace, crafted in intricate Nakshi goldwork. Studded with emeralds and Burma rubies set in luminous Kundan, the statement piece added majesty without overwhelming her ensemble. The coordinated motifs seen across both the textile and jewellery tied the entire look together seamlessly.

Her beauty look leaned towards soft radiance with dewy skin, rosy cheeks and neutral lips. She styled her hair in a neat middle-parted bun adorned with fresh flowers, completing the quintessential South Indian bridal aesthetic with elegance and grace.

Vijay’s classic silhouette

Vijay complemented his bride in a cream-toned traditional ensemble. He wore a veshti-style dhoti paired with a short-sleeved kurta, finishing the look with a matching angavastram draped over his shoulder. The minimal, fuss-free styling reflected timeless South Indian menswear, allowing the couple’s coordinated palette to shine without excess embellishment.
