Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) ushered in New Year 2026 with a series of initiatives that beautifully blended celebration, compassion, and social responsibility across its headquarters and operating units.
On New Year Day, MD, HURL, Dr. S. P. Mohanty, along with his team, visited the Human Peace Foundation Old Age Home, New Delhi, reaffirming HURL’s deep-rooted commitment to societal well-being. The team shared moments of warmth and care with the inmates, distributing tokens as a gesture of goodwill and respect, bringing smiles and a sense of belonging to the elderly residents.
At HURL Headquarters, the New Year celebration was marked by the unveiling of the New Year calendar and diary, symbolizing fresh beginnings and renewed organizational goals. A special highlight of the occasion was the celebration of two successful years of leadership of MD, HURL, an inspiring milestone for the HURL family. The event concluded with a New Year cake-cutting ceremony and lunch, fostering camaraderie and togetherness. Dedicated support staff were also felicitated in recognition of their sincere service and invaluable contribution to HURL’s day-to-day operations.
Extending the spirit of the New Year beyond celebrations, HURL units at Sindri, Barauni, and Gorakhpur carried out impactful CARE initiatives. At HURL Sindri, an outreach visit to Uthkramit Prathmik Mahavidyalaya, Ragamati focused on motivating students through educational engagement, health awareness, and the distribution of drawing kits and snacks. At HURL Barauni, warm blankets were distributed to patients at Sadar Hospital, Begusarai, providing comfort during the winter season. Meanwhile, HURL Gorakhpur supported socially vulnerable groups by distributing blankets and essential food items to institutions serving the visually impaired, persons with intellectual disabilities, and senior citizens.
