Delhi Weather: Residents of Delhi and adjoining NCR woke up to a thick layer of smog amid the deteriorating air quality. However, they can expect a clear sky on Monday as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted moderate fog today, with the daytime temperature expected to hover between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature is expected to be between 9 and 11 degrees Celsius. The IMD predicted that the minimum temperatures are expected to be below normal (-1.6 to -3.0).
Delhi Weather Forecast: What Did The IMD Say?
The weather department stated that moderate fog is expected to blanket Delhi on Monday. “Shallow to Moderate fog during the morning hours of 24-25th November 2025. Shallow fog during morning hours of 26th November 2025 and Shallow to moderate fog during morning hours thereafter,” the IMD stated.
For Northwest India, it further predicted a gradual decrease in nighttime or minimum temperature by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.
The IMD predicted a predominant surface wind to hit Delhi from the northwest direction, with calm winds in the early morning hours.
Delhi Weather Forecast: Forecast For The Next 5 Days
As per the weather department, the daytime temperature in Delhi is expected to hover between 24 and 27 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is likely to settle between 8 and 11 range. Notably, the national capital recorded the coldest November morning in three years. On 17 November, the capital city’s nighttime temperature dropped to 8.7 degrees Celsius, 3.6 degrees below normal.
Notably, the last time November saw its lowest minimum temperature of 7.3 degrees Celsius was on 29 November 2022.
