Patna: Nitish Kumar is all set to take oath as Chief Minister of Bihar for an unprecedented 10th time on Thursday morning at a grand ceremony in Patna’s Gandhi Maidan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and other key NDA leaders are slated to attend the swearing-in ceremony today. Earlier on Wednesday, Nitish Kumar was unanimously elected as the leader of the National Democratic Alliance after BJP’s Samrat Chaudhary recommended his name in the NDA meeting.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP president JP Nadda arrived in Patna on Wednesday night. State BJP president Dilp Jaiswal, along with senior party leaders Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, received Shah and Nadda at the city airport. Shah and Nadda are expected to meet senior JD(U) and BJP leaders ahead of the oath-taking ceremony, party sources said.
