Role of BLOs
The role of Booth Level Officers (BLOs) is to ensure moving to the houses of people in the assigned areas and distribute forms. The voters will then fill out the forms and return them to the officer. In case a voter isn’t available at that time, any of his family members may fill out his required information, returning it to the BLO afterwards. The names of these voters will come in the list, which will be out on December 9.
A verification round will also take place, especially for the citizens who didn’t have their names in the voter list of 2023. These individuals will have to provide required proofs and documents to verify their identity.
Special Information
If a member of the family has passed away or has moved out, the family members must inform the BLO through a yellow form so that their names are taken off the list.
In addition, the voters can download their enumeration forms online from the portal: https://voters.eci.gov.in
