Indian army update: In a shocking incident on Tuesday, an Indian army vehicle met an accident as the vehicle plunged to 150 meter deep Gorge in Poonch. At least 5 Jawans have been reported to be dead and several have been injured as per initial reports. The accident occurred in the Gharoa area when an Army vehicle was on its way to Banoi in the district, they said. The vehicle plunged into a deep gorge, approximately 300-350 feet deep, resulting in serious injuries to 8-9 jawans, they added. The Army and police teams rushed to the spot for rescue operation, sources said.

The accident occurred in the Gharoa area when the vehicle was on its way to Banoi in the district, they said, adding that rescue teams have recovered five bodies.
