Joura (Morena): The man who shot at three persons and injured them was caught with his weapon on Friday. An old enmity led to the firing. The person involved in the shooting was identified as Madho Singh, resident of Gurja village under Devgarh police station in Joura.
He was presented before the court. The police are searching for three others who were also involved in the incident. The injured are undergoing treatment at a primary health centre.
According to reports, Madho Singh had an old enmity with Hari Singh, resident of the same village.
On the day of the incident, Hari Singh’s tractor-trolley passed through Madho’s farmland. Both began to fight with each other. A few villagers tried to mediate between them, but Madho Singh, his two sons, and another person began to shoot at the other party.
The opposite party, too, used their guns. In the incident, Hari Singh was injured, and two villagers, Jagdish and Khushilal, who tried to mediate between the two groups, also sustained injuries. On the basis of a complaint lodged by Hari Singh, the police registered a case against Madho Singh and his accomplices. Afterwards, the police caught Madho with his gun.
