Xiaomi has officially launched its most premium flagship, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, in India. Priced at ₹1,09,999, this smartphone is designed for mobile photography enthusiasts. It also has top-notch performance and display technology.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra features a 6.73-inch 2K LTPO AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 3200 nits peak brightness. It supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision with industry-leading color accuracy and contrast. Xiaomi has used Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0 for making it stronger and more durable.
The phone features a unibody metal frame, aerospace-grade fiberglass, and polyurethane leather for a premium and classic look.It is also IP68 dust and waterproof.
It has Octa Core Snapdragon 8 Elite 3nm SoC with Adreno 830 GPU. The phone is paired with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. Xiaomi has introduced its 3D Dual-Channel IceLoop cooling system, which features an ultra-large 5100mm² cooling area to ensure that the phone stays cool even during intensive gaming or video recording sessions.
The camera system is where the Xiaomi 15 Ultra truly shines. The phone comes with a quad-camera setup co-engineered with Leica. It has a 50MP 1-inch Leica main sensor with OIS, 14EV dynamic range, and f/1.63 ultra-large aperture for superior low-light photography. There is also a 50MP 115° ultra-wide-angle camera that supports super macro with a 5cm focusing distance. It also has 50MP Leica floating telephoto lens that uses IMX858 sensor for 3X optical zoom, and telephoto macro capabilities. The 200MP periscope telephoto camera uses a 1/1.4-inch HP9 sensor and offers a 4.3x optical zoom. The phone can record 4K 120fps recording from the 100mm telephoto lens, 10-bit Log recording on all four cameras, and up to 8K videos from the main sensor. It is also the first Android ACES product partner to ensure industry-grade color accuracy and cinematic-quality video recording.
For selfies and video calls, the phone has 32MP front-facing camera with OmniVision OV32B40 sensor. It also supports 4K 60 fps recording.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra has an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and an Infrared sensor. It also has Stereo speakers with support for Hi-Res audio and Dolby Atmos. Connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2, NFC, and Satellite communication.
The smartphone packs a 5410mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging, 80W wireless charging, reverse wireless charging. It also supports Magnetic charging for attaching wireless charging pads. It all includes Xiaomi’s Surge P3 and G1 chips for optimizeed power consumption.
