Apple has officially introduced Apple Creator Studio, a new subscription bundle aimed at professional creators. This bundle brings Apple’s video, audio, and imaging apps under one subscription plan. It will be available from January 28 on the App Store.

With this subscription, Apple wants to cater to the creator economy. The bundle includes Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and Pixelmator Pro, along with premium features for Apple’s productivity apps. These software are costly. So, Apple decided to give creators a flexible payment option. Instead of buying apps separately, creators can now access everything through a single monthly or yearly subscription.

The one-time purchase option is still alive. So, you can pay once and get the software for life.

Apple has also introduced several AI-powered features across its apps. These updates focus more on saving time than replacing creativity. This feels like a practical approach because I also don’t like too much AI push everywhere.

Final Cut Pro on Mac and iPad gets Transcript Search. Editors can now search for spoken words inside video clips, which can be a real time-saver for interviews and long-form content. Users can also search for clips based on objects or actions. This could be especially helpful for creators working with large footage libraries.

Apple has also added Beat Detection, which uses Logic Pro’s AI models. It creates a beat grid on the timeline. This makes it easy to sync cuts with music. iPad users are getting Montage Maker, which automatically creates edits and even converts horizontal videos into vertical formats.

Motion now includes a Magnetic Mask feature for subject isolation without a green screen. Compressor continues to handle advanced export options, which professionals still rely on.

Logic Pro is getting Synth Player, which can generate electronic performances, including bass and chord parts. It supports third-party plugins and external hardware, which should keep advanced users interested. Chord ID analyzes audio or MIDI and generates chord tracks automatically. This could be very useful for producers who work with live recordings.

Apple has also improved the sound library. Mac users get new patches and loops, while iPad users get Quick Swipe Comping and natural language search. The ability to describe a sound instead of browsing tags feels like a small but important quality-of-life improvement.

Pixelmator Pro is now available on iPad for the first time. The app has been redesigned for touch and Apple Pencil. It includes a full layers panel, smart selection tools, and Pencil gestures like hover and double-tap.

Both Mac and iPad versions now support Warp for reshaping layers and Super Resolution for upscaling images. This move makes Pixelmator Pro a stronger alternative to Photoshop, especially for users who prefer a one-time purchase or Apple’s ecosystem.

Apple Creator Studio subscribers also get premium features in Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and Freeform. This includes a Content Hub with stock images and graphics. Generative AI tools are now built into these apps. Users can generate images from text or create presentations from outlines in Keynote. Numbers gains Magic Fill, which can auto-generate formulas based on patterns. These features suggest Apple is slowly but steadily bringing AI into everyday workflows.

Apple Creator Studio will cost Rs. 399 per month or Rs. 3,999 per year in India. Students and educators get a lower price of Rs. 199 per month or Rs. 1,999 per year. A one-month free trial is also available.

Apple has confirmed that standalone purchases are not going away. Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and other apps can still be bought individually from the Mac App Store. Here’s pricing for a one-time purchase:

  • Final Cut Pro: Rs. 29,900
  • Logic Pro: Rs. 19,900
  • Pixelmator Pro: Rs. 999
  • Motion: Rs. 4,900
  • Compressor: Rs. 4,999
  • MainStage: Rs. 2,999
