Nanded (Maharashtra): A man was brutally murdered by two unidentified assailants in the Ganeshnagar area of Nanded on Wednesday morning. The victim, identified as Amol Bhujbal, a resident of Khobragade Nagar, was attacked while waiting on his scooter outside a local shop. The chilling incident, captured on CCTV, showed terrifying scenes of the brutal murder in broad daylight.

Amol, who worked as a security guard at a private hospital, had stopped to buy groceries when the attack occurred around 7 am. Reports quoting eyewitnesses suggested that two masked men dressed in black approached him from behind and launched a sudden and vicious assault.
The attackers, armed with knives, stabbed Amol multiple times in the neck, back and abdomen. According to a Times of India report, the assault was so severe that he succumbed to his injuries on the spot, leaving a pool of blood at the scene.
The CCTV footage revealed that one of the attackers was wearing a helmet, while the other had covered his face with a black cloth. The duo fled immediately after the attack. The early morning hour and the lack of a crowd provided the attackers with an opportunity to escape without being immediately apprehended.
Police Probe Underway
The police have launched an intensive manhunt to track down the assailants. Multiple teams have been formed to examine CCTV footage from nearby areas and identify potential escape routes used by the attackers. Authorities are also questioning locals and shopkeepers to gather any leads that could help in the investigation.
Superintendent of Police Abinash Kumar addressed the media, stating that the police are leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to apprehend the culprits. “We are thoroughly investigating all possible angles, and our teams are working around the clock to identify and arrest those responsible. The public can be assured that strict measures will be implemented to address the growing concerns about safety in the area,” he stated according to the report.
The motive behind the murder remains unclear and investigators are exploring all possibilities, including personal enmity or a premeditated attack. The police have appealed to the public to come forward with any information that might assist in solving the case.
